Cuz'n Trip - Epcot

Lee sharing her sweet little sports
car with Connie & Jan

On this Cuz'n trip we spent the first few
days with Lee, then Jan Connie & I took
off on a cruise ship to Cozumel. We spent
a few days visiting south Florida, then
a quick visit with my grandkids and flew
out of Tampa for home.

We met Lee at
the hotel, then jumped into my
mini-van and drove over to
Epcot for the day.

We spent a wonderful day at Epcot

We had fun playing with the children's
games. Here Connie is playing the
accordion. As she steps on it,
accordion music plays. She had me take
this photo to prove to Dave that she
can "play the accordion"!

Looking out over "France"...I long to
return to Paris someday...

The evening came to an end, as it always
does at Epcot, with a wonderful display
of fireworks.

The day was perfect...the sun was out, but
it wasn't hot. The crowds weren't horrid,
and our meal at the Moroccan restaurant
was good. We took in everything we could
at a nice relaxing pace. Didn't finish seeing
Epcot, but enjoyed what we did see.
Mostly, we enjoyed each other...

Wow. This trip looks amazing! So glad you guys are managing to stay connected and are investing in the important stuff in life: relationships. Keep up the good work!

P.S. Take me with you when you head back to Paris:)

Although I've done plenty of nagging to return to Paris, Dave doesn't want to go, and I know that Clyde doesn't want to leave the US; so I think it's clear how we should be planning our next trip together! Cuz'in ConSue

On another note, Dave and I visited Cheri's widower, Tom Besemer one week later than their "bonding party" to celebrate being bonded as a commercial winery. The reason we were one week late was the weekend we were in California was to attend my siser Jan Vogel McFarland's 70th birthday party. So, anyway, about the "bonding," Tom announced that he and his life partner Kristi were engaged. A few minutes later he announced that they had been engaged long enough and the marriage was performed on the spot! Dave and I had a hint of this before we saw Tom and Kristi so when they thought they were surprising us when they showed the video of their party, we were prepared with a congrats card. Welcome to the family, Kristi, I know Cheri is looking down with approval.

Congratulations too to Jan who on her 70th birthday looks 59.

Here's something I wrote for Jan's 70th:
Young marriage, of course; Four quick kids, no remorse; and then the divorce. Father's footsteps, way to go; Real estate broker, houses to show; Good investments equal good cash flow; Early retiremet and now you know, On this special date Jan has a full plate; A life with no mate; Her kids think she's great; Thank God for Jan's fate!
